We ran the new long course this year (14 mile option). There were a few long downhills that made me catch my breath
as we first crested them but nothing too serious. The trail is quite lovely, especially going through all the tall pines.
All of the mushers combined raised over $27,000 and with donations from other fund-raising parts of the event the total
amount going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation will be approximately $40,000. |
